Two hundred by two hundred centimetres, and there is nowhere for the eye to rest. Red, black and white pushed onto raw canvas until barely a fingernail of ground survives untouched — this is Cosmic Syntax at its most saturated, close to the edge of what the format can hold before it stops being a painting and becomes weather.
Made on the studio floor, barefoot — acrylic thrown and dripped rather than laid down, gravity doing as much of the composition as the hand did. Every white thread is a decision made in the half-second it took to fall.
Where other pieces in the series leave the canvas room to breathe, this one refuses the pause. Chaos given just enough structure to survive being looked at.
