Oliver Schibli is not just an award-winning abstract artist, but a philosopher of the soul. His art is a journey through the depths of human emotion, a revelation of the innermost workings of the human psyche. Born in Baden, Switzerland in 1977, Oliver began experimenting with art at a young age, attending painting classes in middle school and later pursuing a four-year apprenticeship as a sign maker. It was during this time that he learned the different techniques of calligraphy, writing with feathers, working with gold leaf, and all other aspects of creating.

Oliver's journey as an artist has been a long and winding road, with many twists and turns along the way. He worked a normal job during the day while working on his art in the evenings and every free minute he had. It was only in 2014 that he made the life-changing decision to become a full-time artist, leaving Switzerland to work in Asia and finding his unique style. During this time, he worked almost fifteen hours every day on his technique and ideas, experimenting with different materials and producing different accessories and upcycling furniture with his art on it, creating his own art brand.

After returning to Switzerland, Oliver took his art career to another level, having several successful exhibitions in Zurich and winning the International Emerging Artist Award in Dubai during Art Dubai in 2016. His winning painting was presented to thousands of people during this time, which gave him the trust in himself.

Oliver's art is a revelation of the soul, exploring the depths of human emotion and the innermost workings of the human psyche. His motion Work series, exhibited in Los Angeles, Switzerland, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, explores the potential to free painterly practice from control of conscious, delving into the subconscious and the unknown. His recent apprenticeship as a Derase Mental Coach has added a new dimension to his art, making it even more deep and unique with a focus on mental health and emotions.

Oliver's art is not just a visual experience, but a philosophical journey through the soul. It is an exploration of the human condition, a revelation of the innermost workings of the human psyche, and a testament to the power of art to transcend the boundaries of the conscious mind.

Oliver's Black and white abstract art is a sophisticated and chic expression of my emotion. The ultimate classic color combination, black and white original abstract paintings look really powerful and can communicate a broad range of feelings, intentions, and meaning. The simplicity of black and white belies its complexity, as Oliver must carefully consider the shades and tints of the chosen colors to create a work that is both visually striking and emotionally resonant.

In my black and white abstract artwork, emotion is often associated with the contrast between the two colors. The stark contrast between black and white can create a sense of tension and drama, or a feeling of balance and harmony. The use of black and white allows Oliver to focus on the essential elements of the work, creating a sense of clarity and simplicity that is both powerful and elegant.

In the end, Oliver's black and white abstract art is a testament to the power of contrast and the depth of human emotion. Through careful consideration of color and form, Oliver is able to create a work that speaks to the soul and inspires the mind. It is a reminder that sometimes, the simplest things can be the most profound.
