"Big Dream" is the second-largest work Schibli has made — a single sweeping band of acrylic that reads less like a composition and more like a held breath, let out slowly across an entire wall. There's no focal point to return to, no corner where the eye is meant to land and stop. The painting keeps going, the way a dream does before you remember you're in it.

It was built for architecture, not decoration — a wall long enough to let a single gesture run its full length without interruption. Stand at one end and you see where it started. Walk to the other and you see where it arrived. What happened in between is the whole point.
